Designed by our designer and a Chef, this kitchen is both beautiful and practical!  It truly is a Dream Kitchen!

The kitchen is large enough for several chefs to prepare meals in this room.

One of the first things you may notice is the lovely beamed ceiling.  Handsome may be the word that comes to mind when looking at this unusual ceiling.

The west side of the kitchen is where a wonderful, long bar can be put in for your guests to enjoy.

The designer says the kitchen is not a “chefs kitchen”, but truly a dream kitchen.  One of her sons was a chef and helped her design the kitchen so two, or more, people could work in here with ease.  Describing this kitchen is not an easy task.  It really must be seen to be appreciated.  However, here is some information to help you grasp it in your mind.

The overall look of the kitchen is beautiful.  The ceiling and floor are wood.  Beams cross the ceiling, adding a touch of rustic to this delightful space.

Notice the beautiful wood used in the ceiling and the marvelous crown molding.

However, the white cabinets give more of a sophisticated look.  The tile used in the kitchen is rustic.  You can see the design of the tile by looking at the picture of the bar sink.  You'll find this picture below.  The combination of these gives the overall appearance a "rustic elegance" look.

There are four light fixtures in the kitchen as well as 6 can lights.  There is also rope light placed around the rise in the island and on top of the cabinets.  Work lights are found under the top cabinets.  You can make this kitchen as bright as the outside, (the better to see you with my dear) or use soft romantic light, when desired.

This is the light fixture over the sink.

There are three sinks in this kitchen.  The "main" one is a double sink located by the dishwasher for convenience by the dishwasher, a prep sink in the prep area, and a small bar sink by the drink area.  All three sinks are equipped with faucets that have sprayers.

The "main" sink is on the south wall.  A large window is placed above this work area.  From this window you can look out to the summer kitchen and beyond to the lake and woods.  You can also pass things through the window you need to use on the Summer Kitchen.

The kitchen sets at the back of the home so it too will overlook the valley that caressingly holds the lake.  While standing at the sink, or on the deck, you, from time to time, will be fortunate enough to look out and see deer cautiously drinking the cool spring water.  Beyond the lake are the woods that stand sentinel over the waters.

The beautiful kitchen in Monarch Manor is very spacious and has a lot of appliances and cabinets.  Therefore, to give it justice, the kitchen has been divided into three parts.
